Agent/Broker Working in Commercial Real Estate Since 1972

I manage a team of 5 Commercial agents, including 2 other CCIM's, as well as actively broker commercial investment properties. I started the firm in 1979 and in the company has been primarily focused geographically rather than by product type. Although I work throughout the Atlanta region most of my transactions have taken place in the central core-Downtown, Midtown and in the surrounding Intown neighborhoods. Many of my current assignments are for developers seeking to acquire land on which to build mixed use multifamily/retail projects. I have in the past and continue to be involved in adaptive reuse projects-mostly industrial buildings being converted to residential lofts. Many of the projects took advantage of Historic Tax Credits. I have also been involved in the sale of multifamily properties that used Low Income Tax Credits. I served as the Georgia CCIM Chapter President in 1998, have served on various committees and the board of the CCIM Institute and was the 2005 Region 9 Vice President of the CCIM Institute.
